Ocean Farming
Green Houses under Water
This is our Research & Development Unit
With our new Spheres, Underwater Greenhouses, we can built Ocean Farms below water surface until a depths of 40 meters.
We will be independent from the topology of the coast – and offshore space is unlimited !
Small ones for farming – larger ones as a steady workplace for humans. This is our Vision.
The sphere will be composed like honeycombs to withstand the pressure at 40 meters depths. On the right side you can see an AI generated picture, which comes very close of what we want to build.
For mass plantation of salad, vegetable and small fruit, we might need Ocean Farms in future. Regions e.g. in Spain, Italy, Greece are drying out like during the heat record summer of 2026.
We are also working on underwater hubs, which will work completely autonomously.
We have a small R&D unit for sea water desalination apparatus with oxygen extraction and a micro flow power plant or micro tidal power plants.
On the right side, Ocean Reef is testing a simple Sphere with an open bottom (which equalizes the pressure). A real good sample and our inspiration.

Our Spheres can be illuminated with their own micro-power plants and in future also lifted-up and down autonomously to find the best outside temperature of the sea.
We are growing salad and vegetables and fruit in depths up to 40 meters with micro desalination machines. This could be also last help for coral reefs, since the Sphere can be moved to areas with lower temperature when necessary.
On the right side, you can see a simple frame structure for seewead (3D CAD generated)
For replacing today’s greenhouses, when it is necessary, we will need Giga Ocean Farms in future, which can operate in depths up to 80 meters and more in future, which was not possible in the past. Our new Spheres will have a diameter from 4 – 6 meters today – and up to 12 meters tomorrow. They can be used to grow fruit, vegetable and salad. First tests with salad and vegetable were successful up to a depths of 20 meters. The sphere is illuminated and can be lifted and lowered autonomously like a submarine with an air & water tank – to depths with the optimum temperature. This means that we are independent of the topology of the seabed near the coast. Beside conical shaped hexagons, we test diamond structures.
