Ocean Quest

Ocean Farming

We are already developing small underwater habitats like the one from Ocean Reef on the left picture. Small ones for farming – larger ones as a steady workplace for humans. The sphere will be composed like honeycombs to withstand the pressure at depths of up to 40 meters depths Our Wing Glider 2.0 is used as a means of transport Simple logistics can be realized with our diving drones 14 Image: Ocean Reef We are also working on lowerable canopies with a diameter of approximately 10 meters, which are lowered by a buoy or small platform to approximately 30 meters – either mechanically or electrically. The canopy can be used to plant seaweed, where it is normally not possible due to the depths of the ocean.

In 2023, an estimated 145 million tons of waste
are in the oceans, expected to increase.

Green Houses & Habitats under Water

Our small spheres, raised already interest to set-up an Ocean Village together with Ocean Quest. Second, for mass plantation of kelp forests and sea grass, we might need Ocean Farms in future. As a logical consequence we are also working on underwater hubs, which will work either completely autonomously or develop first habitats for people with an own atmosphere and pressure equalization. For human habitats, we have a small R&D unit for sea water desalination apparatus with oxygen extraction and a micro flow power plant or micro tidal power plants. “The future for world plant-based nutrition might be under water – and not above” Juergen W.E. Roider
