For mass plantation of kelp forests, sea grass and algae, we will need GIGA Ocean Frams in future, which can operate in depths uo to 110 meters ans more in future, which was not possible in the past.
Our new Spheres have a diameter from 4-6 meters today – and 12 meters tomorrow. They cab be used to grow, beside kelp, any kind of alae & corals. Spehers can filled up wil are. First tests with vegetables where succesful within a dept of 35 meters.
We are growing vegetables in depts of 40 meters with micro desalination machines.
For kelp farms spheres can be much more simple a cage is sufficient which unhooks autonomously once maximum growth is reached and sinks to the sea depths at the end…..
The Spere is illuminated and can be lifted and lowered autonomously like a submarine with air & water tank – to depts with optimum temperature.
This means that we are independent of the topology of the seabed near the coast. Beside conical shapes hexagons we test diamond structure.
